FAQs »

Here are questions that many potential and existing members have regarding our facility:

Q: Is your gym for women too?
A: Absolutely. In fact, close to 40% of our members are female. The workouts at the Lion’s Den are perfect for women.

Q: What kind of workout is it?
A: The concept is to come train alongside our pros to get in shape as they do. The workout if fast paced, fun and effective. Each member is armed with their own pair of professional boxing gloves and learns to punch and kick a 150lb heavy-bag correctly. Along with push-ups, plyometrics, and various abdominal drills, the work-out is great for those looking to be lean and toned. To break up the monotony, expect to be surprised by our instructors to what exercises you will be doing each time.

Q: What if I’m a beginner?
A: All levels are welcome here, making the environment very comfortable. Most of our members are new to this workout so everyone is too busy working out than to be analyzing anyone else. You will dictate your own pace and our instructors will teach you until you get it down like a pro!

Q: Is the gym clean?
A: YES. We have three different cleaning crews cleaning throughout the day and night. We take pride in the cleanliness of our facility and our members appreciate it.

Q: Do you have family plans?
A: Absolutely. We have discounted plans for families joining together and for couples. We want to encourage families to work out together and have made convenient class times so parents can workout when their child is. We also have discounted plans for police, fire, and corrections officers.

Q: Am I going to be contracted into one of those “yearly” contracts?
A: We understand that is one of the frustrations with joining a gym and have made affordable plans for both a one year agreement and a month-to-month plan. If you do choose the one-year, there are benefits to this, but you make the choice. You will never feel that sales “pressure” when you are here.

Q: Do you have flexible class times?
A: I can honestly say that we have some of the most flexible class times out there. We offer over 50 classes a week with classes starting from 5:30am to 7:45pm at night and throughout the weekends.

Q: How is your Mixed Martial Arts training?
A: Great question. We have found some of the best and experienced local MMA professionals to teach our classes. We have three former world boxing champions and world Brazilian Jiu-jitsu champion Vitor Shaolin and UFC veteran and Lion’s den fighter Mikey Burnett leading our programs.

Q: It is said that the Lions Den is a “rough” school when pertaining to MMA training. I am a beginner and don’t what to get hurt.
A: I’ve heard that rumor and it cannot be further from the truth. Our facility is not just family oriented, but respectful to our members wanting to learn. Our instructors will teach you safely at your level and at no time will you be disrespected. We have no tolerance for those who deliberately try to injure another member.

Q: Do you have a guest pass or trial time so I can see if the gym is going to be for me?
A: Yes. Everyone is welcome to come down and sample out our gym. We’re confident it will only take a class or two before you’re hooked. All you have to do is call the training center to reserve a spot in whatever class you wish to participate in.
